LIVERPOOL - The Letters "I Want To Tell You"
The following letter of reference is from a past performance:
August 4, 1998
Dear LIVERPOOL:
Many thanks for a fabulous performance by LIVERPOOL at the Museum's recent Happy Hundredth Henry Birthday Bash. With the rain we were quite concerned our party in the park would be a washout, the performance by LIVERPOOL, however, really made our event a success. We couldn't have done it without you. I have an image of a capacity crowd packed under the canopy, with happy, wet revelers dancing to Hey Jude in the rain, while your music echoed across the park and down to the Plaza.
Please extend our appreciation to the entire group. Your stage personas are quite remarkable for both accuracy of your portrayals and the quality of your music. Half the crowd was convinced you were actually from England. Ed, also, did a terrific job on the sound set-up.
I appreciate the willingness to work under what I know were perhaps less than ideal conditions of having to bring your equipment across the lawn and contending with the weather. I hope we will have the opportunity to collaborate again in the future.
All the best wishes,
Rebecca Ofiesh
