Hello!!
My boyfriend and I just wanted to let you know how much we THOROUGHLY enjoyed your
performance at Shawnee Mission Park!! I received two free tickets from KYYS, and was
very excited about finally seeing your band. Johnny E., a high school friend of mine and
lead performer of Johnny and the Gas Man Band, told me about how you were a "must
see" act. Believe me, he was right!!!
I must admit that my boyfriend, being the eternal skeptic, thought you guys were "lip
syncing" when your performance first began. However, after only a few minutes, he
realized he was so wrong. His eyes got bigger and his mouth started to drop; before the
end of your second song he was completely hooked. In fact, his exact words as we were
walking to the car after the show were, "Wow. Only five bucks a ticket? I would have
paid $100 or more a ticket for a show like that. I feel as if I just saw The Beatles for
real. They were absolutely incredible!"
Both of us have told all of our friends, family and acquaintances about your band, and how
your tribute is definitely a "must see" for anyone who truly appreciates not
only The Beatles, but quality music and artful presentation at its best. You probably have
heard this question before, but have any of you ever met one of The Beatles, and, if so,
what was their reaction to your tribute to them?
In any event, we plan to follow your band from now on, and we will be attending as many of
your concerts as possible. When we heard that you were a local act, we were
floored!!! You really are the best concert either of us have EVER seen anywhere -- and
that includes big name concerts we have attended. It [finally] makes me proud to say I'm
from Kansas City!!!! PLEASE keep up the good work!!! You have our utmost support.
THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL TIME!!! God Bless --
Sincerely,
Happy & Robert
